TCX Prepares for Youth Camp

This is an entry by our long-time camper, volunteer, and friend, Sigi.  -Anna

As the highly anticipated youth camp approaches, TCX staff are working hard as ever to prepare for the arrival of the bevy of campers. The youth camp, held annually in the summertime, provides children ages 9-17 with an enriching experience. Campers partake in various activities as part of the curriculum- they include kayaking, hiking, snorkeling, fishing, and so much more! The new tents will house the campers during their week-long or 2-week-long stay. TCX strives to not only give the kids an amazing camp experience, but also to provide them with valuable knowledge that will aid them in their future excursions.

The staff at TCX have been busy as bees making up games and craft projects to entertain the campers. Some of these are: making water scopes, a photo scavenger hunt, and matching games. Lots of coloring and creative thinking are being put into Camp Castaway, and we’re looking forward to a great couple of weeks!
