TCX Volunteerism
Tuesday, October 27, 2009 by Tj.
I had the privilege of going out to camp a few times over the course of the summer and spending some time as a volunteer. Not only was it a rewarding experience, I had a lot of fun. The TCX crew works very hard to deliver exceptional service. You can’t beat giving a hand to a hard working crew in between some hiking, kayaking, swimming and beach bummin. So, if you are looking for a volunteer opportunity, look no further for a great place to help and have fun at the same time!

Grant’s first post
Sunday, October 18, 2009 by grant.
Well, Grant is happy that his boat is almost in the water and he’s extra happy about the pink stripe that Dan added to his new paint job on the boat while we were gone. Grant is also very excited about the fact that lobster season has started. Also, since Grant is taking so long to get in gear about writing his blogs, I would also like to report that Grant is madly and uncontrollably in love with his beautiful pregnant wife, michelle, who is the center of his universe and without whom he wouldn’t be able to breathe.

Havasu Staff Retreat
Saturday, October 17, 2009 by michelle.
This last week we were all “taken against our wills” to the yearly staff retreat at Lake Havasu. (Except for David. He thinks he’s special so he didn’t have to go.) Since I was the only one not allowed to drink because of the impending baby, I got to take some pictures of the group activities, which involved playing pool and drinking, or there was the other option that was drinking and playing pool. Jimmy almost blew his face off with the barbeque, which made the place smell like a vet’s office had caught fire with all of his facial hair burned off. The food was EXCELLENT regardless of the burning hair smell. We got to have tons of fun on the water with the boat and the jetskis and they even let the fat pregnant lady (me) waterski for a little bit. Either way, it was a lot of fun and I think we all had a blast, the parts that everyone can remember. Thank you Joel for letting us crash your pad and play with all of your toys.
